Where do you cater?
Our home base is Washington, DC, and we serve the greater DC, Maryland, and Northern Virginia area. We also travel nationally and internationally for select events — see the "Destination & Out-of-Area Events" section below for details.

Ordering & Logistics:

What is the minimum order for online catering?
Online orders have a $600 minimum. A flat delivery fee of $60 applies to standard orders; larger or farther deliveries are quoted separately. You can browse the full menu and place your order at avenuesofthecaribbean.com/online-ordering.

How far in advance do I need to place my order?
We ask for at least 48 hours' notice for groups of 10–50 guests. For larger events (50+ guests), we generally need 1–2 weeks to make sure everything is prepared to our standard. Corporate orders require a minimum of 24 hours' notice.

How do I place an order or get a quote?
For online catering orders, head to avenuesofthecaribbean.com/online-ordering and build your cart directly. For catering packages, weddings, corporate events, or anything custom, reach out to us by phone at (844) 262-8277 and we will put together a tailored quote for you.

What are your hours?
Friday: 12 PM – 5 PM
Saturday: 12 PM – 7 PM
Sunday: 12 PM – 4 PM

What is your cancellation policy?

How do I save on my first order?
Sign up for our email newsletter and get $25 off your first catering order. It is a great way to stay in the loop on new menu items, seasonal specials, and everything happening at AOC.

Service & Setup:
What is drop-off catering — what does "drop-off" service include?
Our standard drop-off service includes scheduled delivery of your hot, fresh meal directly to your venue. If you need full setup assistance or on-site catering staff, these services can be added for an additional fee.

Does the food come with chafing dishes, sternos, and serving utensils?
Sternos and chafing dish sets are available for an additional charge to keep your buffet hot throughout your event. You can add these directly to your order on our website or request them during booking, and we will include them in your invoice.

Are disposable plates, cutlery, napkins, and tablecloths included?
Disposable serving utensils are included with select catering packages. If you need guest tableware (plates, cutlery, napkins) or serving utensils for à la carte and custom menu packages, please let us know when ordering — we are happy to provide these for an additional cost.

Can I customize my menu?
For events that call for something beyond our standard packages, we work with you to design a menu that fits your vision and guest count. Reach out at (844) 262-8277 or submit your event details online and we will follow up with options.

Packages & Pricing:
What catering packages do you offer?
We offer three signature packages, each designed to make hosting effortless:

The Caribbean Soirée — Serves up to 20 guests. Includes two bases, two toppings, and two sides or salads. $695
The Platinum Island Affair — Serves up to 40 guests. Includes three bases, three toppings, two sides or salads, one extra, and an appetizer (60 Jamaican mini patties), plus buffet labels and standard serving utensils. $1,450
The Avenues Grand Celebration — Serves 100 guests. Includes three bases, three toppings, three sides or salads, two extras, and an appetizer (200 Jamaican mini patties), plus buffet labels and standard serving utensils. $3,200

We also offer à la carte proteins, rice dishes, sides, salads, and beverages so you can build exactly the spread you have in mind.

Do you do corporate catering?
We do. Whether it is a team lunch, a holiday party, a board meeting, or a client reception, we bring the Caribbean to the boardroom. Corporate orders require at least 24 hours' notice. Get in touch at (844) 262-8277 to discuss your event and we will take care of the rest.

Do you do wedding catering?
Yes, and our wedding catering is buffet-style and starts at $65 per guest, with a 75-guest minimum. We cater the full wedding journey: engagement parties, bridal showers, bachelor and bachelorette parties, bridal luncheons, welcome parties, wedding receptions, farewell brunches & anniversary celebrations. We also cater divorce parties. Delivery, setup, staffing, rentals, and taxes are quoted separately. We also travel for out-of-state and select international destination weddings based on availability.

Destination & Out-of-Area Events:
Do you travel for destination or out-of-area events?
Yes. Through our Island Hopper: Caribbean Cuisine Without Borders program, we travel beyond the DC metro area for special events. Continental US events start at $5,000; international events start at $10,000. Travel, accommodations, permits, local transportation, staffing, equipment, rentals, venue fees, and taxes are calculated separately.
